Geneva Women in Business (GWIB) is a division of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and exists to benefit women in business as well as community
businesses and residents.

GWIB Mission

Assist business women throughout the community in improving their networking capabilities and helping grow their businesses by introducing various ideas, concepts and techniques that may serve to be of great value in reaching their goals; and

Provide Members with valuable networking opportunities to learn more about other area businesses and introduce their own products or services to other individuals and businesses.

GWIB Membership is open to anyone whose business is affiliated with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce that has paid for an Annual Membership. Others who wish to become a GWIB member without joining the Geneva Chamber of Commerce may do so for only a one-year period after which time a Geneva Chamber of Commerce membership must be established.

GWIB Luncheon meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at a location arranged by the GWIB Board.

Membership Form
It is fast and easy to join GIWB. If you want to join GWIB simply download the Membership Form, fill out the form and mail to the Geneva Chamber of Commerce. If you are not already a Chamber member please mail your $50.00 annual fee with the form.

Q) How do I become a member?
A) If your business is a member of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, all you need to do is complete one of our membership forms and you automatically become a member, at no additional cost. You may designate up to 2 members with voting privileges and invite any number of employees to attend the luncheons that you would like. If you are not a member of the Chamber, you may join GWIB for an annual fee of $50. This fee can be applied towards Chamber membership if you decide to join at a later date.
Q) When do you meet and what is the cost?
A) GWIB meets on the third Tuesday of the month for a luncheon with a guest speaker or a networking activity. A schedule is available at Luncheon Schedule or by contacting the Chamber office at 630.232.6060. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members

Q) Who are the officers and how can I be elected to the Board?
A) GWIB's officers are listed in the directory and at GWIB Officers. Each August the new slate is put together for the following year. If you are interested please ask one of the current Board members for information.

Q) My schedule is very hectic. Can I make a "standing reservation"?
A) Yes, of course! You may telephone the Chamber and request that your name be put on the luncheon reservation list for the entire year.

Q) Can only women join?
A) Because we are a division of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, we welcome men and women that come from all areas of the service, retail, industrial and professional fields.
